Join local walking group Stag Walkers to walk part of the Icknield Way, the long-distance trail which passes through Baldock.

Today’s walk starts in Baldock and heads through rolling countryside to Wallington, Sandon and Therfield before finishing in Royston.

It’s a long but rewarding hike stretching through fields, villages and woodland, offering a great mix of scenery and classic Hertfordshire views.

The route is 14 miles / 22.5km, mostly on rural footpaths, and will take approximately 6 hours.

Please wear appropriate footwear and bring packed lunch and water.

The walk is organised by Stag Walkers, a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s, 30s and slightly older. The event is open to Ramblers members and non-members, who are welcome to join three group walks free of charge.
